Operations Associate Duties

  • Assist store manager with daily store operations including but not limited to: answering phones, assisting customers with questions as well as completing transitions via phone or in person in a timely manner.
  • Input orders accurately and timely so correct parts and delivery times are met
  • Thorough understanding of the company's products and services and be able to communicate the benefits to the customer effectively as well as promote "add-on" sale items.
  • Complete basic accounting needs including but not limited to: processing AR and AP responsibilities such as processing payments, filing invoices, and printing and mailing customer statements.
  • Thorough understanding of the company's products and services and be able to communicate the benefits to the customer effectively
  • Receive, check, and document in incoming freight and stock/re-stock shelves with parts from received shipments in the correct inventory locations. May use forklift to stage freight for deliveries and storage.
  • Use company vehicle to deliver parts and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Accept and document customer returns in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for inspecting product for quality order and address correctness prior to loading the inventory on the truck to head out on the assigned route.
  • Obtain signatures from customers for deliveries and may collect payments for items delivered.
  • Responsible for warehouse organization including but not limited to: making sure inventory is arranged in correct places and easy to maneuver around, general cleaning and upkeep such as sweeting, mopping, dusting, etc.

Operations Associate Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Will receive on the job training in the proper and safe use of equipment, to unload goods into the warehouse, deliver items to customers, and set up displays within the store.
  • Strong customer service and sales experience preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with computers and POS systems
  • Ability to lift 50-75lbs occasionally and assist coworkers with moving heavier items
  • Strong reading, writing and mathematical abilities
